it's a pirate life for us...

4th grade=no costume dress up. boo! to her elementary school for only allowing Kindergarten through 3rd grade to participate in this KID holiday at school! as if they are no longer kids in 4th through 6th grade. they are allowed to dress for "crazy hat" day.  well, she was not much into this and so sad to not be able to dress up. so we came up with a different head accessory... {thank you pinterest.}

can't believe i got to match them again! feeling blessed to be a mom to these 2 loves. reese thoroughly enjoyed this holiday. after playing shy guy in the beginning, he was scaring the door openers screaming "trick or treat!" only to walk away yelling "happy halloween" without any prompting from mom. and maddie loves this holiday more than anyone i know. she wanted to keep going after all her friends were done and even after her lil' bro threw a laying down tantrum on someone's porch due to lack of sleep. we had a wonderful month celebrating a super fun, kid holiday.
