so it's been a while since i have talked about our spiritual journey. we are really enjoying learning about all things Jesus, church, the bible... we have even decided to sponsor a child in africa.  remember this post almost 1 year ago.  i do think i have been on a journey with jason to discover faith and all these little steps leading to Him. we told maddie all about it and she became so excited.  she couldn't wait to write letters to the child. so after church one evening we perused through a bunch of boards with pictures of different kids and little bio about each. while looking/reading both maddie and i went back to christine's board twice, we instantly knew that was our girl. we have since sent her some items to give her joy and help her feel comfortable, and are now awaiting a response. and what luck, we were the poster family at church the next couple of weeks displaying our picture for the child sponsorship program.
