7:30am IEP meeting to make sure her hearing loss is not affecting her progress in the classroom. {she is doing great! teacher says her reading has improved a lot over the year, she is determined to get the right answer on tests and will not rush to finish, and she socializes like any other kid. good news!}
4:00pm ballet class.

1:30pm final girl scout meeting for the year.
4:30pm jazz class.
thursday
8th birthday!!!!
6:30am wake up to a ceiling filled with balloons, a donut breakfast, and new bday shoes.
7:50am bring birthday treats to school for her class.

8:15am watch her school play. {we could not have been happier or more proud. she was confidant, loud, most importantly she enjoyed herself.}

5:00pm ballet class.
6:00pm take maddie to get her ears pierced for her big birthday present. she had wanted this since last year, but she wasn't quite ready for the responsibility of cleaning and taking care of her ears, so she decided to wait. this year she was sure.

11:30am volunteer to help during maddie's pizza party at school.
12:30pm cheer her on for getting the "respect" award at school.
6:30pm family night at her school.
saturday
2:00pm maddie's gymnastics themed birthday party with her favorite friends.
she had such a wonderful week and she even wrote a thank you note to me on her easel, but her lil' bro erased it before i could get a pic. now one more week of school for the kiddos and summer can officially begin!

I am amazed at all you and Maddie accomplished last week. You should get the Mother of the Year award.
What an amazing week, now I just want to know what restaurant she picked for her bday dinner?????
