on the spur of the moment i decided to take both kids to legoland with all of our neighborhood friends. we had monday off for president's day, and the ladies found coupons for kids-free admission, so i couldn't resist. i was a bit nervous about reese and naptime, but i figured i had lots of mommy support. and he was such a great boy that day! he had a blast just jumping off planter box curbs and climbing on benches. he even sat in his stroller for about an hour without it moving while we waited for maddie to go on a ride with everyone else. i couldn't believe it. and on top of that he missed his nap completely without much of a fuss. yahoo!! does this mean we are getting closer to being a big kid and not so scheduled? i'm also so grateful for all of the help i had from my friends. they took maddie on every ride, because reese obviously couldn't go. now if i can only get him to be comfortable with other adults without crying, then i could actually go on some rides with her. my mommy guilt was put to the test when she asked, "mom, how come you can't ride on any rides with me?" and of course, i don't want her to regret her little brother. ughhhh, such dilemmas.
