be my valentine

so, maddie's 1st real valentine's day where she gets to pass out valentines to friends at preschool and dance class...and she turns out to have a 102 degree fever. on wednesday we did not attend dance class, but i thought this would cure quickly since she had just gotten over another fever/cold the week before. so we made mini cupcakes for her preschool class, we decorated them, and put all of the treats in her valentine envelopes. we were ready and she seemed to be doing a little better, but i should have known something was coming because she did not want to do the scavenger hunt for her gifts as i had planned. as you can see in her picture she got new pink/heart sunglasses, "love" underwear, heart pants, and candy. thursday--valentine's day--she wakes up with another high fever and throws up before i had to leave for work. so i stayed home with her and we missed her first valentine's day party at school. i know i was more disappointed than she was, but i got a few pictures and she went to school on friday dressed in her valentine outfit on 2/15.
