1st snow

we decided to take a trip to mammoth so maddie could see snow for the first time. boy did she see snow!!!! the snow was falling the whole time we were there. it was about 19 degrees during the day and 7 at night. the first day we took her sledding, well actually tubing. she had the best time. everyone could hear her screaming/laughing as we slid down the hill. (j & i had a fun time too.) the next day we hoped we would be able to get her into ski school, but she wanted no part of that. she is still at the age where she does not want to leave her parents and she is very timid right now with new people (and even good friends). so we had another day of sledding, and j & i took turns snowboarding. all in all it was a great family trip and maddie loved the snow. i was so glad that she actually got to see such an abundance of it for her first time out.
