easter eggin'

not the best easter we have had around here. with our kitchen still non-existent and our house in disarray there were no decorations pulled out. kids were lucky to get their baskets and some plastic candy-filled eggs. a sign of a tough easter for us is no egg dying, a favorite tradition. with no stove to boil eggs (although i'm sure any of our neighbors would have had me over in a second, but the friday before easter after a week of jury duty, hectic work days, and again the-no-kitchen-stress, i was over the hassle), i asked my very patient, flexible daughter if she wouldn't mind doing this activity in the summer as a fun craft and she said, "sure, mom, as long as we can do it, i don't care when." thankful for her. so saturday we had our annual neighborhood egg hunt.
