new blog header

wow!  i feel so official now that i have a real blog header.  i am so excited about how it turned out and especially how i received it, for freeeeee!!! that's right, you can purchase blog headers from graphic designers for around $100 or you can win one in a drawing.  yep, you guessed it... i won!  i never win anything, so i really hope this doesn't hurt my chances for winning the lottery. anyway a friend and fellow blogger, amy, was having a give-away to celebrate her 1 year blogiversary, and i happen to be the lucky winner.  please go visit amy's blog.  she is so talented and has some really great ideas on crafting, cooking, and just being a mom.  


now the meaning behind the header...  for those of you who have known me or read my blog for years, you might remember this post.  so my ducks are in a row, i love the different fonts {i am a lover of fonts, although you wouldn't know it from this blog because they limit the types available, but it is one of the first things i am drawn to on invitations or any design based written word}, and i love that the mama duck is using the speech bubble.
