maddie performed at her 2nd preschool christmas program this year. her teacher asked if she could have a speaking part. i told her my shy girl probably wouldn't want to, but miss carol spoke with maddie and she said she really wanted to do it. we truly thought she would get too nervous and freeze up {this is the girl who would not take her school picture because she was so shy}. we were so glad to be wrong. of the 3 kids up on stage speaking she was the clearest and loudest speaker. i have never been more proud of her! then came all of the singing and dancing. her class learned the "i want a hippopotamus for christmas" song and also the chipmunk christmas song.
