dance fever

maddie's first year in dance class is coming to an end. she has learned so much this year: dance steps (that she actually teaches to her dolls & stuffed animals); listening & following directions from a teacher; and socialization with friends. i can't explain in words how proud and rewarded i feel watching her grow and accomplish something that even makes her proud of herself. so she will be performing in a final dance recital next weekend. however, i took pics at the dress rehearsal last week. this was the girls' first time seeing the costumes and trying them on. they all looked just adorable. they have been practicing their dance since about February and will be performing in front on a large crowd at a high school auditorium (along with many other dances from various age groups within a 2 hour stretch).
